Hi Chris,

Is there any way to recover overwritten mwk file? I accidentally overwrote the data file in the client without changing the file name for a new session (unfortunately I didn’t back up the file in the meantime). Or is there any place that I can look up the server log, other than the server console? The entries corresponding to the missing session are lost as they were filled up. I’m not optimistic about this but just want to confirm.

Thanks,
Hansem

Hi Hansem,

Unfortunately, MWorks doesn’t make any backup copies of event files, nor does it save the contents of the server console. Unless you’ve backed up your data via some other means (e.g. Time Machine), it’s probably gone forever.

Chris
