Hi Chris,

I get this error once in a while as mworks is reading the joystick value. Doesn’t stop or disrupt the experiment, but should I be concerned?

```
ERROR: NIDAQ error: <err>Some or all of the samples requested have not yet been acquired.
To wait for the samples to become available use a longer read timeout or read later in your program. To make the samples available sooner, increase the sample rate. (-200284)
95:31:28: ERROR: NIDAQ analog input read failed
```

Thanks,
Sujay

Hi Sujay,

Seeing this once in a while is pretty typical and isn’t a cause for concern.

Are you using a PCIe or USB device? If USB, then I recommend reading [this comment](https://mworks.discourse.group/discussions/problems/141#comment_44829823).
