Hi Chris,

Thanks again for your help with my last issue. I am setting up to get some optogenetics going, and for some reason when as soon as I load an XML file (doesn’t matter which one), the LED turns on and won’t be modulated with changes during the trial. My sense is that it’s something to do with the initialization of the LabJack? As the LED continues to be on when quitting the MWorks Client and Server. The only way to turn it back to off is to totally unplug the LabJack.

I was hoping you might have had some experience in solving this type of issue before. If not, just some general ideas for how to troubleshoot this would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Jenny,

Are you talking about the LabJack’s built-in “STATUS” LED? Or do you mean you have an external LED connected to an FIO line? If the latter, which FIO is driving the external LED?
