MWorks shutdown protocol

Hi Chris,

Is there any way to reset (or zero) the ports on the IO device when MWorks is manually stopped? We’ve been having some problems with FIOs being left high at the end of the experiment. I tried resetting the FIOs to 0 in the XML (outside of the trial structure), but that didn’t work. Is there, or could you develop, some “final state” which gets evaluated when the user stops the experiment? That way we could make sure that all outputs are off.

Thanks,
Lindsey.

Hi Lindsey,

There’s no way to do this at present. Mark has requested a means of executing actions after the stop button is pressed, which would do the job in your case, too. Unfortunately, I still haven’t gotten around to implementing it, although it’s definitely on my to-do list.

Cheers,
Chris

Hi Chris-
Yes- the same solution would definitely work.
Thanks!
Lindsey.
