MWorks Eye Tracking Data Question

Hello Chris!

I’m Tyler Swedan, a post-bac from Arash Afraz’s lab at the NIH. I’m writing because I am working on a project to compare eye movement data between two different immobilization systems, and I plan on using MWorks to record this data. I was curious if it is possible to constantly add the eye position data to the log files during the task, or if there is a function to extract this eye position information directly from the MWK2 files. Hi Tyler,

I’m not sure what you mean by “log files”, but certainly the eye data should be in the MWK2 files. You can extra the values for the relevant variables using Python or MATLAB, as described in the user manual.
