Pointer error

Hi Chris,
We updated to the most recent nightly an encountered an error (see attached). Everything loads fine and the first few trials present, but then it crashes when opening Matlab. We reverted to a previous nightly and everything is working fine now, but just wanted to give you a heads up for future versions.
Thanks,
Lindsey.

Hi Lindsey,

Thanks for the bug report. I’m seeing this crash on my machine, too. However, I’m puzzled as to why it’s happening, as I haven’t changed anything about the MATLAB window for a while, and I’m pretty sure it worked fine at most a week or two ago.

Can you tell me what version of the nightly works for you? That would help me pin down when the problem arose.

Thanks,
Chris

Hi Chris,
We are using a version downloaded on June 24th.
Also- I have an unrelated question: I’d like to be able to send stimuli to
the back- I see from past discussions that this is possible, but I can’t
find the right syntax anywhere on the knowledge base. Is there a place
where this information (and other more specific documentation on stimuli)
is kept?
Thanks,
Lindsey.

Hi Lindsey (and Eghbal),

I found the bug that was causing the MATLAB window to crash MWClient. The fix will be in Sunday night’s nightly build.

Cheers,
Chris
