You cannot find out what version of MWorks is installed on your computer. Indicating the version/build somewhere in MWorks would be useful.
I agree that this is a big problem for users. I’ve created a ticket in the issue tracker. We should really fix this for the next release of MWorks.
For the benefit of users who may come across this discussion in the future: The “About” window for each application now displays the MWorks version. For example, the attached image shows the “About MWServer” window for MWorks 0.4.5.
